What a piece of junk! They want an extra $300 for that over their already useless original downpipe? Haven't they seen the products out there already? Cast Iron, HA! HKS continues to have no concept of what makes a decent WRX downpipe.

Look, you want cheap, I'll give you cheap:
Megan WRX/STI Cateless Down Pipe, MR-SSDP-SI023, Subaru Impreza WRX Megan WRX/STI Cateless Down Pipe

No cast iron, no $475 pricetag, perfectly good bellmouth.

My Helix uses a cast bellmouth as do most high quality bell mouth downpipes (Cobb,APS,MRT,BPM.....) Cobb actually goes alittle farther using inconel.Cast iron retains more heat as well as resists warping or cracking as apposed to using a stainless steel flange and pipe.
