I'm really thinking about going with the HKS up and downpipe, considering the price. However, are they a cheap product?

They don't have a bellmouth design. They are designed like the stock downpipe. That will limit how much top end power you will produce (which is one of the main reasons for changing a downpipe). However, being catless, it will still produce more power than the stock unit, just not much more. If it were me, I'd spend the extra few bucks and get the Invidia downpipe.

As Cosmo said, their downpipe isnt much different than the stock one, with the exception of no cat. Spend some more money and get a more expensive one. As with the up-pipe as long as its made out of Stainless Steel 307(or w.e it is) and it doesnt have a cat, then your fine.
