it's just a resistor you put where the sensor should connect

the sensor itself is a variable resistor so selecting the correct static resistance makes the ECU think the sensor is detecting a desireable O2 level

Personally, I bought the Perrin O2 Simulator. Only got rid of 1 of the 2 codes, so I talked to Perrin. They sent me an adjustable one to test on my car. When I get it 'tuned' to my car, I'm sending it back and they're gonna send me a permanent one.


Oh, FYI, for this scoobymod fix, I don't know if it really works. He said he only tested it for 3 days. My first attempt on my adjustable one, it ran for several weeks before a CEL still kicked back in. Now I'm probably gonna wait until atleast 1.5kmiles until I sent it back to them.
