help with perrin dp an cel

I have an 05 wrx and i'm about to order a perrin DP with the divorced wastegate and no cats. what do i need to do to avoid cels. i heard the perrin cel eliminator will not work for the 04-05 models, is this true, and if so what can i do? how many sensors are in the DP, and will having a catless DP effect the other sensors in the exhaust?

If you have the extra cash spend it on EM. It will clear all that out. The cel fix should work though.

EM is not going to clear the CEL, it is only going to stop the CEL light from coming on. Your car will still be throwing a code. You have one sensor in your downpipe, its the rear o2 sensor and that is the one that will throw the code, none others should be affected. Helix makes a CEL fix kit according to www.gruppe-s.com, it should work for you.

Please only post a reply if you have an 04-05 wrx with a catless DP and you know what you are talking about.

There's no reason why the cel fix won't work with it.

Has anyone seen the perrin dp with divorced wastegate for less than 314? I'm just trying to find out who has the best deal.

Good luck. If you want cheaper than that go used. Take a look at extremepsi.com, they always have good prices.

You can get a mechanical cel fix for $30 or make one yourself for $5. I have one from rallitek(same as gruppe S one) on my 04 WRX with catless DP
