Kind of a noob question but do headers help that much or are they not worth the money.

Okay first of all, let me ask this. Did you search, even a little bit?

But since yout took the time to ask, I have to answer with as little lip as possible. No, they will not help at most tuner's levels, and they make your car sound less like a Subaru and more like a Honda. They make you lose a lot of low end power, and gain a tiny bit of high end power. For most tuners this is true, but with higher power cars they can get gains with them when tuned right.

Still don't even need to mess with porting for some time. The stockers flow pretty well. However, when you do need that option, porting is an efficient way to go.
