GT spec headers

Anybody have these on their car? I am ordering new headers, and these seem to be the the best performing for the price. Someone please give me some good feedback.

There is no such thing as a good performing header. They all make just a slight bit of power in the 6500 RPM+ range, and lose low end power.

I noticed without a lot of supporting mods (ie everything else on the motor is modded) Headers won't do shit for you except change the sound of your car.....on that note if you do get headers make sure they are UNequal length with the up-pipe built into them...and COAT/HEAT WRAP dem #####es...

The big problem with headers is that the pipes are so much larger than the stock manifold. Even if the diameter is smaller, the total volume is larger. That means the engine has to work harder to fill them. That also means low end power suffers. Headers DO work at very high RPM's. They were designed for the JDM STi engine which has a higher redline than the US model, so on that car the engine's usable power range is such that it can benefit from the headers. On a US car, the headers finally start making power just before redline. Unless you have an extensively built engine, you would be better off spending your money elsewhere.

Thanks for the replies guys. The car already had aftermarket headers on it when I bought it. They are cheap ebay ones and I've developed a small exhaust leak at the block, so I've decided to get better headers. My car is far from stock, so I don't know if that will make a huge difference or not.
