Been looking into picking one up and making sure I wont screw anything up so far I got that Im gonna need a tune with it but my question is what exactly does the tuner do when tuning it w AP? Do they just install a different map for AP?
Anyone got feedback on it also. I seen alotta good feedback on NASIOC.
They have to change a few things around. Im not exactly sure. But the stock unit is a 2 port, the GS unit is a 3 port. It allows to build boost faster and hold longer. Its a favorite among many tuners.
Im actually using a GM one. Been on the car since 08. I want to switch to the GS one now that its out, but not a tuner around here worth his weight in crap.
If you weren't on the AP the tables really won't change much and I could do it. I have found that the GS unit you have to reduce the WGDC by about 40% and the GM is about 35% for the best results. So really not much else would change. Now you may have to tinker with the Burst table a bit, but I doubt it would be any thing really noticeable.

Im in the dark when it comes to this stuff and I just like to learn how stuff works
So basically they adjust the turbo to work with the BCS.
I hear that once its tuned there is almost no turbo lag.
Probably gonna go with CBRD. Its the closest to my area and hear they got a good rep.
Chad could make you a map either way...in OS or a Protuned AP map. Hope you have a good experience with CBRD. Chad's only flaw is that he is sometimes slow to respond to phone calls. But, a busy man means he at least has a lot of business.
