Never heard of that site, but more importantly I don't think that turbo is going to bolt up.You need a turbo that is specificly for a Subaru. That turbo looks like it has the typical Garret T3/T4 4 bolt inlet flange and probably has the typical 4bolt outlet as well. Its also meant for an external wastegate.

i dont mind making and welding new flanges on, thats not a problem... and i plan on running an external wastegate setup off of the up-pipe... i was just wondering if the site was a good place to buy from?

ive been looking at that gruppe-s site for injectors and fuel pump and a couple other things, but so far i havent been able to find a better deal on a turbo.... is it because the turbos are poor quality or is it because they are just that cheap in price???? thats all i need to know...

its the turbo on that link... its a garret externally gated 50 trim with just the standard flanges... so i would be making and welding the new flanges on.... see any problems with that??? i was also thinking about running it with sti pinks and a wlabro255.... do you think that would be enough fuel???

First off, I can't see why you don't just get something that's bolt on and save yourself the hassle, but if you want to be different, go for it I guess.

Secondly, you'll want more injector for that turbo, the pinks aren't going to do it.

I would look into 660+cc for size, maybe bigger. Remember, with good engine management you can always scale them back. It's always better to have a little too much injector than not enough.

It depends on your EM. Godspeed's here in MI, Payne technologies is as well. They're over by the "D".

As for better, it's personal preference really.

Easier - Cobb, by far.
More versitile - TXS.

But you can get the Streetuner software from Cobb and do everything that the UTEC can do pretty much. I'm not sure about launch control and what not being offered with the Cobb stuff, but I know that the UTEC has it.
