Cool Getting my next batch done

Well guys I have decided my next route will be sti pinks, pump, and an uppipe. I found a tuner in tampa with an awd dyno and will get a tune while I am there. Hoping for 230-240 hp. Hopefully I will stop making my money pit bigger!!!! Have uno question though...do I need new shocks if I get some lowering springs or will oe work good. Thanks in advance for any post.

Thats a loaded question. What is the drop you are looking for? How many miles on the stockers?
I would say that if you stay around 1.5" drop and the struts aren't worn out, you might be ok. I would just swap them out when you do springs, no need for two alignments.

I pretty much agree with oldfartracer about that. Cobb and Perrin claim to work well with the stock struts, but I sure if they are starting to wear, it might become an issue. Good luck with the parts and tune.

How long are the stockers good for roughly? I know driving style and where you drive make a difference but ball park number.

75-100k miles would be a ball parks guess.
I had a buddy pick an 02 with 53k on the clock, he put S Techs on the car and got another 20K before the rears failed.
