Question Full CAI or just K&N drop-in?

Well, i was thinking about whether i should buy a full CAI, or if i should just get the K&N drop-in filter... (on 2002 wrx) I have heard that sometimes the CAI can be quite useless since the stock intake was built too big anyway. So i was thiking of getting the K&N to help it breathe better, and yet it won't be as costly and such. If i get a CAI, it will be after my TBE and UP. But if i get a K&N drop-in, then it will probably be the 1st upgrade, or one of the first, since it's $40 compared to $100-$300 for a CAI... Anyway whats your recomendation? Thanks

Just go the cheap easy, guranteed way and you cant go wrong. Stick with the panel filter.

I just popped in my K&N Drop-in today and I am 1000% satisfied.

You can def. hear all the air it sucks up . I give it two thumbs up.

Plus I got it for $31 on Amazon brand new.

Can't go wrong with that.

Im doing the silencer delete tomorrow. Should sound sweet since I just put in my
Greddy Evo II a couple days ago.

But yea bro, drop-in all the way.

heck yeah, plus, by the time i'm ready to upgrade anything, or even by the time i have the car, i hope i will be working at either a Kragen, or at a Pep Boys as a temporary job, and i can get a pretty nice discount on the K&N. usually $40 from everywhere else, $31 is pretty nice on Amazon

Yea. I was going to pay about the same almost $50 for mine at Autozone but they were all out.

Went on Amazon and got it for $31..came in yesterday brand new in box with everything.

Totally satisfied.

Did the silencer delete today too. Took like 10 min. Super easy and man does it sound cool.
