YOU NEED a BOV or RECIRC hands down! unless you plan on bending you throttle plate...
its needed.

it bends your throttle plate??? ive never seen a bent throttle plate...if anything wouldent it just surge the compressor?? maybe bend some fins or fry up some bearings in the turbo???

i had a SR20 with a front mount and no bov or anything and it would just serge the compressor and shoot the air back out off the intake....ran that way for 3 years on the same turbo...these cars are different i guess...

Yeah it might have worked there but use some common sense you just don't do those kind of things. You already spent the money on the intercooler now spend the money to do it right. Its usually mounted right in front of the throttle body on most kits.

my friend, i just installed the same kit. it wasnt very easy. the fmic doesnt fit flush at all. i had to grind down the metal bar that sits in front of the radiator in the middle. only take out the black part of your bumper and of course the support, too. if i were u i would weld the bov flange to the back/side of the pipe. have any questins just message me. if not good luck

thank you for all teh sugesstions
yea your right. i didn't even try to put it on yet because i have problem with the flange and the bov. i had to buy a extra flange for my hks bov and weld it in. My friend said i have to find a metal shop to weld it in ### they have the special tools to do it right. My uncle said he will do it so im waiting till tomm see what happens.

I will paint my pipes red on friday and most likely on saturday i get it in the car . Hopefully i won';t have any problems.

I post some pic once i have it done.

For people that wonder why people would spend 600-800 when you can get a kit for 200-300, this is why. You're paying for quality, and the assurance everything will fit and no extra custom work needs to be done. The 200 dollar kit is fine, you just have to realize that it may not fit correctly or come with all the parts needed to get it to work, and some extra effort will have to be made to get it right.

+1 with VEW thats why I shop Nasioc for quality used items. I picked up my Turboxs fmic for only 250 and it was in great shape. Not saying those kind of deals are always out there but sometimes they are.
