Free Mods

Wuts up guys, i just bought an 02 wrx wagon, and i was wondering if there were any "Free"mods, i know about the intake silencer, but what else is out there, anything like performance, exterior, interior...just wanted to get some ideas...Thanks

Well, mods are like most other things - you get what you pay for. Free appearance mods aren't a bad thing if you like how they look. But, don't expect an increase in performance from any free mods.

well as far as cheap mods go:
tilting the stock intercooler - helps a little with cooling
silencer delete for the stock air box - please dont add an intake to the rex wo EM

personaly id get rid of some cats on the car mainly the up pipe cat, replace the up pipe and down pipe and that would yeild some decent gains right there.

Not free, depending if you 'black' em out or not, but clearing the headlights is still my favorite. I mean, the only additional cost is a 5 dollar can of paint. For the bugeyes, I also like the Kobi, kobi, koby... i don't remember, I'd check, but nasioc.com is down. But he did a custom headlight mod relocating lights using pcv pipe and it looks badass.

I did the foglight mod recently and I like the look of it a lot (running fogs with parking lights).

Coolant throttle body bypass is another one.

and what is a coolant throttle body bypass?
