FMIC with intake fitment??

hello all. i've got big plans for my rex n very soon i should be getting my SPT short ram air intake system. in the near future i do plan on a blitz FMIC. i heard the intake usually has to be the same brand as the intercooler for hosing to fit or some issue like that. does anybody if that will work?? or with any other FMIC?? thnx

You might not be able to use the heat shield with that FMIC but they should both fit.

I have a blitz FMIC. and im here to tell you, if you can get any other brand. go for it. IT works great! its just the fact that one of the piping wraps around your axle boot. Leaving not even a half inch of clearance. Ill take pictures and show you what i mean when i get a chance. that and the blitz fmic kit for the 02 wrx, most of the brackets for the piping do not match up, you have to get creative, it took me 2 days of full work to get it right.

You can use it. You just have to make holes for the piping around where the fog lights used to be.

Will fit a Perrin FMIC too. You just have to... make it fit. Can't use the brackets, it's bent down differently, and you have to squish the filter a tad. Not sure the if Blitz pipe is the same or what.

look at greddy FMICs. from what i hear they fit very well. still have to remove fog lights... but if you look at pictures of mine, it looks mean with the pipes running where the fog lights used to be.

ill take pictures for the blitz hopefully this weekend, im a bit under the weather right now. and the benedryl is making me loopy.
