i had a ssautochrome tmic on my p and p stock turbo 04 wrx. i ended up trying to max out my stock turbo and i end up switching to a fmic because it would get heat soaked. i also didnt feel that much lag like alot of people say it does. yes it does have some but just with the increase in power it makes up for it. also i didnt have injectors i did put in a fuel pump. my mods were perrin short ran intake and turbo inlet, ported and polished stock turbo, turboxs fmic, ported and knife edged tb, ported intake manifold, ported and delete tgvs, ebay unequal lenght headers reweld, greedy up pipe with a 38mm external wastegate, hks down pipe, 3' rsr cat back, fuel pump and a turboxs utec. i was running 21psi tapering to 19 psi by redline with meth injection. i made 278whp. and with the tmic i was only able to make 263 whp for one or two runs after that power would drop like crazy cause of heat soak even with the meth. the problem with big tmic is that most sit right over the turbo and not to mention the engine to lol. i guess if your not planing to break any records or make a ton of power a ebay tmic will do.
