Shawn,
Got your e-mail. I also have the TurboXS exhaust and I like the way it sounds. If you would like to hear it in person let me know. Since I live in Duluth, maybe we can work something out and meet halfway.

I was wondering if anyone has thought about the scoobysport exhaust system too. I like it alot and wonder if anyone has any opinions on their products.

shawn check out turboxs.com and m2performance.com for specs, it sounds like you are a little off.
The M2 is 3" from the turbo all the way through the muffler
The turboXS is 4" downpipe, 3" midpipe and 2.5" catback

Your right., those folks that I listed a link two said thiers was a 2.5" system. I don't know why I was thinking M2 was them. Brainfart... I just ordered the TurboXS setup recently.

Thanks for the correction,

Shawn

Exhausts m2 vs TurboXS

Ok, I'm new to this board, but like it much better than I-Cash already...

Anyone have opinions on the difference between the M2 and TurboXS Cat back exhausts? The reason I'm asking is the TX is a 3" and M2 is a 2.5"... I REALLY dig the way the M2 sounds, I've only heard the sound byte on thier web site but that sounds great. Perfect Boxer growl IMO... Also, anyone seen any testing or had experience with backpressure issues with the 3" pipe vs the 2.5" pipe's? Any opinions on the resonance of the two setups? Anybody have a better suggestion?

I know M2 uses a Scoobie muffler and that is where the sound is comming from so I may just end up getting the up, down, and mid pipes from TX and then adding a Scoobie to it for the sound. I also like the sleeper look but I guess with that growl it's a dead give away...

I'm thinking of the Stage II from TurboXS, hopefully they will work with me on the muffler if thiers doesn't sound the same. I would do the Stage 3 from Cobb but I don't want to stay a week in BFE while they install and Dyno it. I haven't found an AWD dyno in GA and wouldn't put that kinda hardware on my baby without one and some serious tuning. Not too mention I would expect to gut the clutch at the same time, that just adds up way to quick for me right now.

Thanks for any opinions,

Shawn
