Exhausting

If you keep the stock cat back, how does a 3" downpipe mate to it, isn't the stock pipe 2.5". Also I'm thinking of having a local exhaust shop put on a better muffler, should I have him go all the way to the cat or just add the muffler? Is there any benefit to getting rid of the resonator?

if your going to have a shop put a muffler on you might as well do 3 inch piping all the way back too. just my 2 cents.

So what will I notice or not notice, with or without the resonator?
