exhaust leak question

This morning i started to hear what i believe is an exhaust leak in the area of my turbo. She is not loosing boost and sounds like ass when i start to give her gas. Im thinking it is the downpipe side of the turbo. Any other suggestions?
I went ahead and ordered both gaskets (up and down) from scooby tuners (one of this forums great sponsors). Very nice fellows. I also ordered the sti hood scoop (about time).
She is up for inspection soon and ill have my mechanic fix her up nicely.

Yeah its most likely leaking from the gaskets. The new ones should fix it. When I installed my downpipe I didn't have the catback to downpipe gasket tightened all the way and had a nasty exhaust leak. They sound horrible dont they Good luck with it.

Thanks. Curious thing is, im pretty sure it happened after i had my car washed yesterday. Im not sure because i do listen to the radio much and the exhaust is loud. I realy hope it is nothing worse , ig cracked turbo, uppipe..from cold water and hot engine. But she is still running well with fine power and i hit over 18lbs of boost tonight in first gear.

Yeah hopefully nothing cracked but I'm sure your fine. Just replace the gaskets you think might be leaking. If that doesn't do it, spend a day going over everything making sure its nothing serious. Good luck with it

Ok, it was sunny this morning and i was able to see well under the hood. i notice a nut missing on the uppipe .
il looks easy to get to but didnt want to mess around because im not into branding by turbo.
**I need to know what size and thread type this nut is. Please. Also, do you think i should take it apart and replace the gasket or just tighten her down and see if it leaks?

Cheers

Dude... that's so freaking weird. I blew my intercooler hose yesterday because it wasn't tight enough, but when we looked under the hood, we noticed the bolt on top of my turbo missing too...

I think the Suby Gremlins are stealing bolts from our cars...
