exhaust front mount intake

First I want to say I appriciate everyones input on this web sight. Its definently taought me a thing or two. I want an exhuast that gives a decent amount of horespower but maintains a respectable but non annoying sound. Im possibly thinking Greddy Evo. Also Greddy has a front mount. Is it any good and what the main diferences between other brands. Also there is this intake that drops in your wheel well that sucks in a lot of air.(sorry i dont know the name) Can I use that intake with the front mount or will it be i the way. All suggestions needed.

You can use a CAI intake, which is what goes down the fender wall, when you have a FMIC, due to the piping. First of all, alot of people have problems with CAI, so I would recommend a short ram intake instead, like the MRT, AEM, etc. In addition, if your getting a FMIC then you wont be able to use it anyways.
As for the Greddy EVO, its one of the quitest exhaust out there, and if you want quite thats probably a good for you.
As for the different brands of I/C, the main differnce is quality and the thickness of the intercooler. Some I/Cs have more rows and depth than others, and that makes the difference in price.

No, you can't use a CAI with a front mount intercooler. You have to use a short intake.

The Greddy intake is made cheaply, and is known for having a bad pressure drop across the core. In addition, you have to do some major cutting of the bumper beam (which is a big safety issue) to install it, and remove your fog lights.
