Sorry if i sounded pissed also...i just read it all wrong (one of the disadvantages of the internet is that no one can really tell whether people are joking around or not).
Anyways, thanx for the info. I have a 2002 though, but i imagine that the exhaust specs are the same correct? If so, there shouldnt be any problems with throwin that CEL fix on my car, right? I'll do a search and look this up (this whole CEL thing is giving me a headache).

PS.-To anyone else that knows....i heard that the Accessport could read and delete engine codes...that true? If i was planning on getting it, i could delete the cat inefficiency code right? Let me know your thoughts...

Miamiwrx... Yeah, the mechanical fix should work on the 02 just like the 04 but the CEL fix kits (resistor kits) should also work for your 02. It's just the 04 that the resistor doesn't work for because of some change Subaru made to the computer. Now (in the 04) the computer somehow detects the resistor and sets off the code anyways. But you should be fine with either for your 02.

Hey miamiwrx, cobb is actually introducing maps that have those two sensors disabled; check out their website. After you reflash the ecu using those maps, you'll never see a check engine light due to egt or o2 inefficiency.
