exhaust baffle

with my exhaust came a baffle for the tip, to me it looks like it would just be less flow and with turbo you want no backpressure. but then again why would they have it? should i put it on or leave it off?

which exhaust is it? my blitz came with one. drove for a while with out it. and was LLOOOUUUDDD. like 2 or 3 blocks loud. so i put it back in. and it sound almost stock. no difference in power. but keeped reddlining the shit out of it BC i wasnt used to it being so quiet.
