The previous owner of my car installed some sort of exhaust. Im not too sure what all he did to it, but i know he switched out the muffler. But that aside, assuming he didnt change out the uppipe downpipe or midpipe which do you replace first. The uppipe ive read is the most poorly designed followed by the downpipe so does that mean uppipe first then down? Also, Catless exhaust is illegal here in NC so i was wondering what some good options would be with cats.
Catless is also illegal here in PA but that didnt stop me from going catless. I just saved my old stock DP so when Emission time comes around Ill just swap it out. Im gonna save up for a high flow catted DP though. Only got the catless because I got a deal on it. My advice is just save and get a nice catted DP, or if you want to kill 2 birds just get a turbo back exhaust. Just do your research and you'll be fine.
Good luck man.
Cobbs is the only one that I know of that comes with a bung already in it (in the DP). Been running it for a few yeas now, the only issue I have with the full system (TBE) is my canister is showing some age/rust. I might be taking it off this winter to paint it black, still kicking that idea around.
