ewg help

is it possible to install a ewg by yourself? how hard is it to do? will i need a new boost solenoid? And if i put like a 16 pound spring in their, will i need a tune?

Yes you can install it yourself, but you will need a tune. If you get a kit with v band mounts, the install is a breeze. Its just like putting a new up-pipe on.

are you doing this on your stock turbo? if so, i don't think it's worth it but to each his own. if you do this you'll also have to get your iwg flapper welded shut, and an uppipe designed to be ran with an ewg; or a turbo with the ewg flange on it(aps) and a tune. you'll need a boost solenoid if you plan on running high boost. why do you want an ewg?

Grimmspeed makes a bracket for a varitety of turbo's to hold the iwg shut. Ewg's sound so F***ing sweet at WOT.
