It has its pro's and con's. I think one of the members here on the forum has it on their car. Just make sure it is the bell mouth design downpipe

I have a ERZ downpipe (Bell mouth) on my 05 wrx and it works perfectly. I have not had any problems with it, it's very economical, and gets the job done!

sofreshsocle, can you please upgrade your profile? I'm curious what else you have done to your car... it looks awesome from your avatar

WareX16, if you don't want junk, I'd say ERZ is probably at the bottom of the list (quality-wise). Invidia is a decent mid-range option. Cobb is a high quality, but expensive option. Then again, when everything is said and done, they're all just bent pipes. How long do you want it to last and how much do you have to spend?

+1 whatever you choose, definitely make sure it's a bellmouth design

I've got the ERZ bellmouth catless, it went in easy. Only problem I've had is that the tab that bolts to the transmission bracket broke but it wasn't due to the DP, it was from something hitting it during a race. Sliding sideways on dirt has that effect.

does it work fine with the supplied gaskets or do you need to buy the subaru factory ones. I have heard that it leaks with the supplied ones.

I bought a new factory turbo-to-downpipe gasket when I installed my Cobb downpipe. It's not very expensive and it could save you the trouble of getting at those bolts twice.
