i had to go through 2 headers on my last car because i decided to go the ebay route

it will make your car loud, imo it's awesome just make sure you do wrap and expect to deal with headaches if you decide to go with them. just get the stockers port and polished by grimmspeed, much better choice imo.

Thanks for the info. I think i will try to put them back on ebay and if they dont sell i will have a nice paper weight. I'm going to just have to wait till i get more money and get a quality brand. I dont like headaches too much of a pain in the as*

i was looking into a header just like you, but someone told me the equal length headers get rid of the true boxer rumble. once that was said i was like hell no to that.

Not for the headache and cost doing it. I have seen several cars making over 400AWHP without headers. Unequal is one of the reasons the subaru sounds like it does, and the reason the are unequal is in part due to how the engine is layed out (flat). Decisions like this are a personal one, no one else can decide on how to spend your money or tune the car you drive.

i am using equal length tomei headers . did a road tune with it and tuner says better mid to top response.no longer have that "rumble" sound .but the boxer rumble is over rated anyway.so i am a happy man now.

That all a matter of opinion. The sounds is one a several things that seperate us from others. I will always keep mine.
