"yes, and thanks"
"Why were you going so fast?, I clocked you at 60 in a 35"
"I was testing out my nitrous oxide.."
"Ok, well i'm still going to have to ticket you, and did you say nitrous oxide?"
"No, i said my carbon monoxide detector"

don't know abt it never heard of it. but dude there are other ways to get more power out of your car than just boost. I'd first get all the other stuff done first, like an exhaust, bigger intercooler, hmm downpipe, up pipe. etc. Then if you really want more boost, time to go turbo shopping lol.

FYI, I got the mod just to see what it accually was. It's just about disconnecting/replacing some hoses in the system alowing the turbo to max-out it's boost from 13 psi to 17 psi. That's it.

i think i know

if it's the hoses to max out boost from 13psi to 17psi then i think i know how it's done. i was trying to mess with this a while back. anyways, the hose from the wategate has is a normal 3/16" inside diameter rubberhose with no restrictions. the hose from the compressor side is also a 3/16" inside diameter rubber hose. but the compressor hose has a 1/8" metal pipe inside the hose. now the mod i think is to switch these two hoses. the compressor hose goes where the wastegate hose is. and the wastegate hose goes where the compressor hose was.
the pic shows the two hoses. i think all you have to do is switch these two hoses.
just an fyi.

thanks,

ACTUALLY

I tried switching it......NO effect.

Also the wagon doesn't seem to have the restrictor in the vacuum line , its just plain.
I am thinking one could be installed , however *evil grin*
