Drop A Turbo in it...

OK, im sure that this has been asked before, but ill just put it out there. I've got an outback sport, which has the same engine as the 2.5 rs, and i would love to drop a turbo in it, i just would like to know where to find somethin like that, and how much it would cost...thanx

Well, the first thing you need to do is to locate a turbo, intercooler, and the appropriate exhaust pieces. You will also need bigger injectors, and some sort of engine management. There is a UTEC that works for the Forester XT which may work for you. However, you might have to get a FXT ECU to work correctly. I would contact Cobb tuning (www.cobbtuning.com). They have performance parts for the Outback and I'm sure they could point you in the right direction.

I think Kastle's Corner sells a kit for the 2.5RS so you can just use that on the Outback as well.

You might also check at http://forcedairtech.com/. They make a twin turbo kit for a 2.5 RS that might work nicely...
