Every little bit helps.

Who is not looking for that last bit of HP.
Anyways, I agree that the restriction is minimal. I was just trying to give an example of the little things that can be learned through research. For me that step down combined with the higher price of the Cobb DP was enough for me to look elsewhere.

Just get a 3 inch flange and weld it against the stock 2.5 catback and you will be fine.
