I actually have a helix style Dp, it is a bellmouth design which I`ve heard is the most important thing right?? of course the welds too, I just recently got an APEXi CBE & the fitment was fine. Got good gains & have had no probs yet! The shop I went to in Cali installed quite a few on other rex`s and they never had any probs? I got it installed for $220.

I have the Invidia v2 downpipe on my car and love it. However, I recommend the Helix DP because they are cheaper and they are the same company

+1 I have an invidia DP on my car too and it is excellent. As for that tsudo (that I hope you have already been dissuaded from buying) If you read it says... 3" inlet while most DP's have a 4" bellmouth and the end of that DP looks small(hard to tell cause its a pic) but it could be stock exhaust size. I know that my DP looks MUCH larger around than that one does.

what do you guy know/think of HKS exhaust components? I've seen HKS DP and UP for pretty cheap.

There are quite a few threads on this very subject.

As for the HKS pipe, it's a nice pipe, just not the best design for the stock turbo or the like. People say that it's designed for an externally gated turbo. This makes sense, but if you're going with an internally gated one, get either a divorced wastegate or bellmouth designed downpipe. I recommend the Helix one, it's build quality is excellent, and the fitment is great too.

My car is well, it's like 10 lbs of shit in a 5 lb bag...

I know alot of you on this forum and others talk down on ebay parts, and for plenty of good reasons. but if you buy smart and ask questions it's a good place to shop. NE way I bought the tsudo down pipe and i must say that the quality is better than good. not poor or super, just better than good. full stainless steel the bell-mouth is 4in and piping is a full 3in. welds properly stitched and has good penetration through where the flanges were welded. fitment was very good. fits perfect right next to the firewall. all hardware and gaskets also. it's only my car now 2weeks but first impression is good. love that newly gated turbo whistle.

Yes I am new to this fourm.
