down pipe

i just bought me a 2006 wrx tr. and i was wondering what kind of downpipe i should get i was looking at the hks it is a lot less money but is it worth it. also i was looking at the cobbstuning one with and with out the cat iam not worryed about the emmisions i dont have them where i live but i herd it will throw a check engine light if you dont have a programer like the accesport. or something along that lines. thanks

Avoid the HKS downpipe, it is poorly designed since it still blocks off the wastegate. As for the CEL, you can get a fix either electronic or manual that won't cost you a fortune.

You don't want the HKS DP, go with a Helix, Invidia or Perrin, those are the most popular and your best bet

My turbo's fixed and a lot better =)

I'm sort of stuck on the turboxs downpipe but I have to use their racepipe or cat pipe too. Anyone know if their DP and Catpipe together will bolt up well with any other catbacks?
