FYI - If you get a unichip in the stage0 kit from shiv or the stage 1 kit from turboXS, both come with a MBC anyway.

A MBC will allow you to get full boost in first gear and bump the boost up past stock. I had used just a MBC before I got a unichip and I could definitely tell the car was faster with it than without it.

Do not use MBC, wait for unichip?

Do not use MBC, wait for unichip? It seems that one of the biggest complaints about a unichip is that people do not feel a real difference in power coming from using just a MBC. After spending that kind of $$ the last thing I want to think is, well I guess its better with a unichip. I know the real reason to get a unichip is so you can have it tuned for any other mods you do, but because I do not want to have any warranty problems, I think its just going to be a unichip for a while.

So, do you think I should hold off from getting a MBC, therefore being able to feel a much bigger difference when I have a unichip, or am I just overreacting, therefore I should just shut up get a MBC when I break the car in?

I know.

Yes, I do know that they come with a MBC. But thats more for added control then anything else. Aahh forget it, I am no good at asking questions. I look back at my own posts and a lot of them I do not understand. ops:
