I have looked at the A/F ratios, but I don't know what those numbers mean? What would mean its too lean? Also as far a disconnecting the battery and holding the brake, what's the difference between doing that or uninstalling and then reinstalling? As far as idle speed you make a good point. I recently upped that to about 850rpm, it was around 500. It seemed to me it popped mostly at idle. So far that upped idle speed seems to be helping. The car is still getting 16.5 lbs of boost and running pretty good, so I'm starting to think it could be my K&N SRI. I also feel like there is some dead spots in power (I could be wrong or maybe I'm just looking for perfection, I don't know). You guys think its worth it to grab a COBB SF intake, they say you can use it with the cobb stage 2 OTS map. I like how it is has no bends before the MAF vs mine that has a slight bend. Anywayz, thanks for the info fellas

You can use an spt intake also.

Your best bet is to record a few runs and send your logs to cobb. They will look it over.

You shouldn't be running the k&n. There are a lot of threads about it throwing off the mass air sensor readings. There some other posts on here about target a/f ratios. I don't remember them off the top of my head.

Well I got the timing belt, water pump, oil seal, gear oil, and plugs changed( plugs $300, dumb design). Also got the cobb sf intake. Been driving it for a couple weeks now with no CEL's I think it was the K&N causing it. Anywayz, thanks for all the responses.
