Cobb Stage 2?

If it does what they say it does it's a hell of a deal, IMO.

Looks like it's simply the accessport and turboback exhaust and you can even get it with a cat if you don't want any trouble...

Average 0-60s of 4.6 seconds? jeez! 13.4 1/4 mile times? From a family car! hahaha!

What do you guys think?

I'm very interested in this!!!!! I mean amazing how simple and easy to make that much of a gain.

What kind of reliability issues will I encounter though? I mean am I gonna trash something from the extra power?

Talk to me!

Next door neighbor running a full stage 2, no daily driving problems whatsoever, but with any extra hp, comes the extra breaking. So be prepared for new clutches trannies ect.

Cobb stage 2 has been the best mod i've done for my car yet. I've only been running it for about a month now, so i don't have a say on reliability.

My first mod was a Cobb stage 2, installed in the spring of 04. That was followed by misc small upgrades until I finally went stage 3 last spring with a VF34 and all the trimmings. Not quite a daily driver but could be (I use a company car during the week), and I regularly take her up to about 110 on a deserted stretch near my house. Zero problems with any of my mods. By far the fastest AND most reliable car I've ever owned.

IMO, Stage 2 should be the first mod anyone considers - big power, ease of install, great sound, reliable. Only one problem - horsepower is addictive; it's really hard to sit there and look at that stage 3 map without ordering more goodies. I made it for almost a year...

Stage II will happen for me...I just need a new truck now for hauling duties and wheeling, so that comes first. Once I get a new job I will go stage II.

Now if were talkin stage 2....you need to get a pro tune to get the power out of the car.

I have full stage 2 and loaded AP map stage 2....yea the car felt good, felt BETTER... But the next morning I went to slowboyracing and had it pro tuned. Wow....HUGE difference. This car pulls so hard off 1st and 2nd its hard to shift in time. 3rd is killer gear pulls long and hard and 4th and 5th is just great passing gears on the highway.

For you fellas out there with a full stage 2 look into a pro tune. I bet you will be amazed at the power difference. Good luck to all with there mods. Looks like im in the lead with mods on the 06 as long as no one beats me to the FMIC and Turbo.
