Catted DP vs Catless DP

How much of a difference, performence wise is there between an after market catless DP and a catted DP?

There wil be a diff. But i doubt it will be a HUGE diff. Yes I got rid of mine and it spools faster and seems to boost easier at a better massive hit. But hey.....i got a diff year and all

don't kid yourself that an aftermarket downpipe with 1 cat is any more legal than catless. If you're going to break the law, might as well get full performance anyway right?

A catted DP will be just a little bit quieter, and you'll lose a little power going with a high-flow cat.

no, it's people trying to bring up "backpressure" without understanding wtf they're talking about. Removing the cat will only help power in both the high and low end but moreso in the high end. It cetainly won't hurt power anywhere

Get your vehicle dyno tuned and you may lose 1-3 hp at the wheels, but mother nature will thank you. Oh and when a cop pulls you over and wants to look under your car 1 cat looks alot more leagal than none. Unlikely to happen but it could.

catless does not really mean louder in all aspects. i am catless now and am no louder until 4500rpms+ and even then its not that much louder.. the size of the pipe has more to do with sound. cause either way that turbo is gonna block a lot of sound.. compare your catless wrx to a catless NA car.. much louder cause they are not turbo'd...

and the idea of having a highflow cat for somepeople is.. cop pulls me over, see's a cat i have a better chance. doesnt see a cat im screwed..
and some people are actually environmentally conscience...

and you really will NOT notice a difference with a highflow cat, until you are trying to push every 100th of a second off your 1/4mile. to trying to reach a high high hp and you are a couple hp away and are trying to squeeze in every bit of hp.
cause there is only like a 3hp difference with a highflow. so catless is not so necessary unless you dont wanna pay the extra 200 bucks.

30,000 miles later, do you realize how much you poison everyone compared to a car with any type of cat? What if everyone was like you? Goodbye forests, goodbye sky.. Exhaust is pouring out every second. There is definately a difference running a cat, not even bringing the (imo too restrictive) smog law into account.

i heard that when you eliminate the cats on either up or down pipes youll throw a code and be screwed if you go to emissions
