I have purchased Ansa products in the past. The products were chromed with black powder coating and attractive but were not the best quality. Their exhaust tips/resonators did have the appearance of a Ferrari tip. My experience is that they looked good, relatively cheap, but did not last very long (chrome weathered quickly).

Use good quality the first time you do something cause if you dont youll be going back to it and doing it again and it will end up costing you more money

Check out Buschur Racing or VRS. Both of their catback systems are quality peices and are fairly cheap.

If you want something quality and cheap, get a Bosal. $359 shipped. I have had it on my car for 10,000 miles (and I'm sure everyone already knows how often I change exhausts).

Oh, and it's the EXACT same thing as the SPT exhaust you get from the dealer, only about half the price.

how loud is the bosal? i remember watching a WRX commercial and the car had a different exhaust note in the commercial than the one i have... is that the sound that it makes? if it is, i'll probably get that, ### i really liked the way that one sounded.. and then i was disappointed to find out that my car sounded differently, because of the exhaust difference...

It's about middle of the road as far as loudness goes. Plus, it looks similar to stock, which is the main reason I got it.

I have a Megan Racing Exhaust on my 06 STi. I get asked all the time where did I get my exhaust. It sounds awesome. Look and fitment are great. And cant beat the price $500 for a TBE. It is not crome plated. It is polishes stainless steel. I has been on my car for 3 monthe and 3000 miles. looks just a good as the day I got it!

I've had a chance to check out the Megan in person and it's actually pretty nice. The welds are decent, the sound is good, it's definately not restrictive, and it's not too awfully loud. My Helix is alot louder than the Megan, I'd actually like to trade my Helix cat-back for the Megan.

My car is well, it's like 10 lbs of shit in a 5 lb bag...
