I'm replacing the three cats with one high flow cat on the Stromung midpipe. The stock midpipe cat's heat shield won't fit the new one. Is that OK? I thought a heat shield is intended to reduce chance of setting leaves etc on fire and also to keep the cat hot so it catalyzes better.
