Breaking in a new turbo?

Im going to be installing a vf 39 turbo in my 04 wrx. i was wondering if there is a break in period for turbos.

You will need to prime it

1. Do an oil change for sure
2. Unplug your ignition fuse (it can be found in the fuse box inside the car)
3. Crank the car about 10-12 times (it shouldn't start)
4. Check for leaks of any kind
5. Try to drive 300-500 miles before hitting too much boost
6. BOOST AWAY

I got the turbo in place and have 150 miles on it. the installation was a pain along with the Y pipe not fitting and a few other things but thankfully no leaks so far. it took me around 6 hours of work time to install the turbo and cut the y pipe to fit and install the intercooler. all in all it drives nicely. thanks for the help guys!
