Do you have any other mods?

BLAZE2099 08-20-2013 03:46 PM

Is the car running like crap?
Like stalling?
Or reeks of fuel?
Or idles less than perfect?

BLAZE2099 08-20-2013 04:02 PM

Oh wait! Can I change my suggestion?!!!!?

V1nny2 08-20-2013 04:43 PM

It idles just below 1000 rpm it does stall sometimes when I push the clutch in and put it in neutral when I'm driving. I do smell alittle bit of fuel. Other mods are it has a sti block, a sti exhaust and a intake that basically it

BLAZE2099 08-20-2013 05:28 PM

Here's a mod, put a stock BPV on it and throw that piece in the garbage.
Our cars hate them, and hks is a horrible BOV company. There exhaust are outstanding, but not their bov's

All your symptoms are from the BOV man, please save yourself the heartache before it gets worse.
People who don't know what there doing put those on:(

My buddy had the same symptoms and put a stock bpv on and everything went away. As everyone has already suggested out the stock bpv on.

I know (blush)

V1nny2 08-20-2013 10:53 PM

Ok definitely going to do that but does it matter that i have a front mount intercooler will the stock BPV work

BLAZE2099 08-21-2013 04:24 AM

Nope, only matters if your running, say 22+ psi of boost. At that point you will want a better constructed BPV.
