BLOW OFF VALVES: what do you think?

Is a BOV bad for you car?? What about the fact that you vent 100% air after the MAF sensor senses the air?? Wont your car run rich? Even with a 50-50 BOV setup you are still running rich. How is it possible that a BOV will cause you to lose HP? Is HKS SSQV a better buy because Boost keep the valve seated?? I hear that a BOV is better for your turbo, then why does it void warrenty??

BOV's aren't bad for your car. According to Cosmo who has tested this theory, your car won't run rich. A BOV doesn't cause loss of HP. I think the HKS SSQV is the best 100% atmospheric out there but that is my opinion. I like the WORX tuning for the mix BOV. In theory any aftermarket part voids the warranty, but do a search on the Magnuson-Moss wararnty act.

I have a TurboXS RFL blow off valve. I use zero washers in it, and have had no problems. No idle drops, no funny accelerating... very very minimal bogging, so minimal that its barely noticeable, but u can tell its there slightly. And this is on a completely stock WRX. only thing is an intake silencer removal.
