Thumbs up Borla Cat Back Exhaust

Just wanted to let eveyone know that after a lot of shopping around and research I got a Borla Exhaust system installed @ a local Subaru dealer. The sound is awesome (deep and throaty) like a rally car should be. Doesn't sound like rice or a Kawasaki Ninja. It also doen't look like I've got a Sanka Can on the back of my car. The extra punch in hp can be felt as well. Overall I have to say that the reviews for it that I read are right on the money "best bang for the buck" and "best performance for the money." Hope this helps someone make a smart choice!

Thank you for posting this review WizzD. Please make sure to post reviews for any other parts you buy. I wonder how the muffler section of this compares to a magnaflow?

One rex to rule them all, One rex to find them, One rex to bring them all and in the darkness bind them. In the land of Subaru where the RE92s lie.

Wow, that is definetley good to know. Do you know by chance if you let them do this if it voids the warranty on the car? Cause thats my main concern. Thanks

Hello again. Darkstar, I think the look is a bit similar to a magnaflow as I'm sure you can see in picture from the link I provided. I also forgot to mention that just like K&N, Borla has a Million Mile guarantee! That was another HUGE factor in my choice. It just makes sense. As far as warranty goes breepsh, this was yet another point I thought about while shopping around. A local performance shop told me when I asked this and about passing my state inspection as they tried to sell me the HKS, "You really care about the warranty and passing inspection? You are the 1st person to ask us that." That can't be true. I'm sure most people have the same concerns we do. In any case, I asked the Subaru dealer where they installed it since they were also installing a GFB Blow-off valve at the same time about these issues. I was assured that since they installed it, if there are any problems at all, they would take care of it. Had I purchased it from them but had it installed elsewhere, they would not be responsible if something damaged my car. So, I can tell you that if you can find a Subaru dealer that stocks or orders aftermarket parts for the WRX and installs them, go with them. Certainly ask the same questions to them but I'm sure if you buy it from them and they install it, there is no way they can not claim warranty responsibility.

Where you find a GOOD price on the Borlo system? Is it very easily compatible with a new downpipe too? Hit it up. Need da 411

Zullard is more helpful than not
Yeah it fits most aftermarket downpipes, shouldn't be a problem. This is where I bought my exhaust
