boost throughout the curve

After installing my Prosport boost gauge (which I am very please with), I noticed that the boost doesn't drop down, or holds the same PSI throughout the whole curve. Is this true? WRX's don't slowly loose boost like MS3's or SRT-4's? Because my buddy, SRT driver, suggested that I get a better actuator so I can hold boost better through the curve.

It shouldn't hold the entire way.... It SHOULD taper down. Is it tuned ?

What you need is a solenoid (BCS) 3-port preferrably -> (with a tune). Look at prodrive's or GrimmSpeeds

if you get your car tuned it will change where it peaks out, how long it holds at a certain PSI and when it tappers off. What have you all done to that car so far?
