Ok this is driving me insane. it has happened to both me and my friend. we can not figure this out. ok i put a manual boost controler in my car and he put an electric boost controller. we both recently went to put it back to stock boost control. using the stock solenoid so we can run the stock boost. when we did this we could only get 8psi! we made sure the hoses were on right and we also switched them just to check if that would work and still no luck! please help!
Did you make sure you still have the brass restrictor in the hoses? And, if so, did you make sure it's in the right place? It should be between the turbo outlet and the T fitting. I'm willing to bet that's your problem.
i dont have that there but i also dont remember seeing one. how does this brass fitting work? where can i get one if i cannot find mine? thanks for all your help

Ditto. Its inside the hose, you can't see it. Its almost like a BB.
It would have been in your stock hoses. Squeeze the hose about halfway down it. You should feel it. That hose (with the restrictor) goes between the T and turbo outlet.
not sure if its in there or not but i also have a check engine light code. something to do with my wastegate reading high. do u know what this is about? btw with the mbc i have no boost problems.
What do you mean wastegate reading high? The wastegate doesn't read does it? It is set at a certain pressure to open/close. Check and see if your wastegate is stuck open.

That's a common occurance with a MBC. Since there is nothing hooked up to the stock boost control solenoid, it thinks something is wrong.
not to all lol. when you modify your boost control make sure to keep ## stock stuff. do not lose it.. lol i just paid 18 bucks for the hose and connectors from the stock bcs to the turbo .. ouch. i hope that is my boost problem
Well i put that brass restrictor in and yeaaah i got boost again...lol but i am getting different boost levels in different gears. 1st and 2nd im getting 10psi a little more in 3rd and 4th and then in 5th it spikes to 15 then down to about 13.5. isnt 14.5 was stock on this car? and shouldnt i be getting that in every gear. I have the hose from the bottom of the bcs going to the turbo is that correct? Will i get better boost levels if i eliminate that plastic connector and just have the hose go from the bcs to the t-fitting? sorry for all the questions lol. any help will be greatly apprectiated.
