Cool best intercooler for the buck

pretty soon i'm ordering a vf34 turbocharger, and i need to know which intercooler to get to run with it. i'm looking for a good 1/8th- 1/4 mile time, and i've got about a grand to spend on an intercooler. help!

depends what you are going for.. if you want alot of top end go with fmic.. if you want instant response go with a tmic.. i just went through the same problem myslef.. i really didnt know what intercooler i wanted to get.. soo i search around talked to a few people now i got a hyperflow fmic.. its good for a high power setup also dont have to worry about heat soak anymore.. if you are staying with a vf34 i would go with a tmic it should do just fine.. if you are going vf22 or bigger fmic is the way to go..

well pretty much all fmic except the greddy will run over 1k..

That's what I'm running (as I answered your PM 2 days later) It's definately nice. I'll see what kind of numbers I put down on the dyno on the 17th. Think about the APS under scoop air splitter too, the stock under hood scoop doesn't allow air over the entire APS top mount.
