BCS Help

Hey everyone, I just installed a perrin Electronic Boost Control Solenoid on my 02 WRX. I set it up the same way the factory one was set up so it is a slow bleed, I only did this because the stock one wasn't working properly. Anyway, when I took it for a test drive the new BCS is making a very audible annoying tapping sound when I touch the throttle. To describe the noise it sounds like a wood pecker is under my hood. This can't be normal can it?

Is it a 3 port? If so it has to be tuned directly after installation.

+1 you need a tune. However, a light tapping or buzzing sound is normal from a 3 port BCS. As long as the sound is comming from the BCS your fine as long as you get a tune.
