Another post on intakes and exhaust...

Ok, i was searchin ebay and came across this uppipe and downpipe combo for 129 bucks. had like 25 minutes left so i bid on it figuring somebody would out bid me, but nope i got it. This was last night so i havnt got it yet but i hope its not some pos. I read that a few ppl on here have this already and its ok. after i install it when i get it i was wantin a short ram intake like k-n or something. But some ppl say they are not good fo this motor? Is this true? I really just want the turbo to be heard by all these darn honda na kids in town that think they got something.

How do you read the stock boost gauge also. Is .1 like 14psi or something?

What brand UP/DP was it? Don't put an intake on just remove the silencer inside the fender and you will be able to hear the turbo better.

My turbo's fixed and a lot better =)

Theirs the link to the exhaust no brand on it the seller is reddogmotorsports.

i already removed the silencer on the innerfenderwell. It made it a little more noticeable but not close to what i want to hear.

I am pretty sure its not a Helix Uppipe, the retail for more then $129 alone. It probably just just a replica. But, they do look like nice peices, I guess you'll find out when you try to bolt them up.

Go lurk over at NASIOC...

You'll find out it's called either ERZ, Tsudo, or some other weird name. It's a generic UP/DP made by some company and they distribute it under all sorts of different names. Only complaints I've heard so far are fitment issues. And make sure to get a set of OEM gaskets because the ones that come with those are horrible.

Thanks for the info on that, i kinda figured it would be a little tough to install but im sure i can handle it. I have about every piece of equipment they make.

If it dont work im not out much ill jsut resale it on ebay, hehe.

I did order a perrin short ram intake. I guess the foam filter is the way to go now days.

I wasnt about to get a generic filter for suck a nice car.

I just got the car last week and so far i love it. I also have a 92' 240sx coupe and its a blast to drive also. Its not quite as fast but it will hold its own for 170000 miles.
