i just used it today!! but i heard a sound not like a back fire but something come from the downpipe.. and my check engine light went on for about 2 seconds and went off.. and i drove it for about 20 min after that with no problem... any ideas?

oh yeah also i only put 94 octane in my car.. so is there a better map i can run.. i know i cant up the boost because i have an up pipe.. but is there a map i can dL from turbox for use with a higher octane... thanks

check engine light came on for about 2 seconds again today when i floored it in 2nd gear.. it kinda lagged a second and once it went the check engine light went off.. it cant be knock because iam running stock boost with 94... any ideas?

Yes, that is knock. The "lag" is because the ECU retards timing when it detects knock.

soo what would you recomend to do... its only map one wich is for a stock car...but the thing is it didnt happen at a high rpm.. it happend around 2/5 3/5 rpm ... plus the boost is stock.. with 94 octane gas.. could it be something else... would a leak somewhere do that?

Log a run or two and see if it does it again. If it does, look at the log and see what you need to adjust. If you are unsure, e-mail me the log and I'll look at it and make a reccommendation.

Can I do that too i just got my UTEC installed. I've got 91 octane, but it still runs pretty good. No knock runin close to 15 psi MAP. and still runin rich. looks good so far.

i think it was the way i shifted the car thats why the knock sensor went off... because i shifted very hard and both times i did that the check engine light went off.. also to test if it was knock i went to 5500 rpm in 4th gear with no probs what so ever.. maby could the utech be picking something else up and mistakeing it for knock?

Do I have to run 16.1 psi as the UTEC says at 4000 rpm? It seems like the more boost I put in the less knock it has. HELP!
