oh ok sorry i didnt know where that came from now it makes sense we can all be happy cause we dont own a Audi
Wife had one and it broke down so much that we traded it in for another Subaru. Yeah its an 05 Legacy and its nice was looking at an 08 WRX because you know its the new Legacy But liked the look of the 05 instead. But back on topic like Lil Shoaf stated you have no dependiblity out of a 400awhp daily driver. 250-300 is a better bet.
I will admit that I didn't read the whole post, but I'm going to say that a 400+whp Daily Driver is not going to be reliable.. I speak from expierience here. I spared no expense on my build and it still breaks ALL THE TIME.. It spends more time tore apart then it spends on the road and it's always hella expensive to fix..
What parts have you broken lately because of your power level?
LOL. more then I care to really list.. But yea, I blew my stock transmission twice then gave up on rebuilding it.. I blew the stock 2.0L and a built 2.5L.. I'm currently in the process of building up a rock soild (so I hope) darton sleeved 2.5 with fully forged and ballanced internals. If only the Oil delivery system was good enough to rev it to the ballanced 10,000 redline..

What did the 2.5 have done to it and what went wrong and what was the cause? That's a lot of questions in one sentence
Forged Pistons and ballanced in the first 2.5L... I ended up cracking a Cylindar sleeve.. There is a small steel liner glued and pressed into the alumn block which is what cracked. I'm not sure what really happened.. I was at the drags when it blew but I was not really beating on it as I didn't need to to win my races.. I had an issure with an oil line blowing a month or so prior and I think it was just a combination of the oil stravation and stress..
