you do bring up a good point about the rear bumper. I don't really have the cash for a new rear bumper right now and i do agree with it not looking good with only one cutout. So maybe i'll reconsider and just do a single 3" cat back. Alluminized pipe with a stainless tip or something. Trying for a cheap CAT back setup. Anybody make a good decent priced cat back system in 3"?? Until next time.

Hey man, I don't mean to rain on your parade..... do what you like... these are just MY feelings and concerns. The Aluminized pipe works, I actually did it for my catback set up. However, no reason to go this route if you have access to a Stainless steel pipe and mandrel bender. I just would go the aluminum route if I personally were ever going to do dual exhausts. I am old school when it comes to the WRX, and as such do not like the look, or even the thought of Dual Exhausts on a WRX.

This is exactly what I did for my catback (at the time). I purchased just the axle back portion of the HKS Carbon/Ti from a friend who wrecked his WRX and wasn't getting another one. From there I had an exhaust shop make me 3'' piping from the Spring bolts back, keeping the piping as straight as possible. From there he mated the piping to what was left of the stainless steel pipe of the Axle back portion after he was done making it work. Cost about $120 in work, plus whatever the Can cost.
