No.If you read back throught, this is for a USDM STi with the IHI VF39 turbo. Its a mechanical issue where the wastegate port is a tiny bit to small.By removing opening it up alittle and re-working the inside lip it can be fixed. These turbos use INTERNAL wastegates(built into the turbine housing) so you cannot buy a new one persay.EXTERNAL wastegates are usually used on bigger turbos/high horsepower cars and are a much more expensive setup. The WRX's use a Mistsubishi Tdo4L-13T which does not have these issues. Also for people putting the VF39's on the WRX the boost creep is not an issue because of the lower gas volume from the 2.0L vs the 2.5L in the STi.

Yes Chris, you're right, it is old. The good thing though is that he posted his question in an existing thread, not start a new one about the same subject. That's good coming from a newer member.

That shows that the search function was being used. I like it.

My car is well, it's like 10 lbs of shit in a 5 lb bag...

Your posts really showcase your lack of knowledge on this subject. Before you try to ridicule me or anyone else around here, you might want to at least know what you're talking about. Not just showing us your cut and paste skills.
