2.5 turbo??? or 2.0turbo swap??

I Dont own a suabru yet. and dont hvae money for a wrx. so i was wondering if the 2.0 turbo heads bolt onto 2.5 block? will it change compression ratio? the ej20 2.0turbo block and ej25 2.5 na block look identical (i work at a subaru dealer as a mechanic for ford but see subarus also) the decks look identical all the water jackets are in the same place and appear to be the same size. plus i can get my hands on a 2.5 block pretty easily (might have to rebuild it thought). so all i would have to do is get the header and turbo. a few fuel computers and ide be in buisness. my question is basically can i put ej20 heads on a ej25 and how strong is the bottom end (well i should say middle ) of the ej25 will the rods bend or can it handle about 450 hp. also how strong are the trannies on the subarus can it handle 450 hp (ide settle for 400) any help would be appreciated. thanks

i dont know if i read it right..
but you can swap a 2.0 liter motor for a 2.5 liter motor (built to house a turbo)for about $3400... and maybe including your stock core... and throw a SR40 turbo on top of that with the right stuff..add exhaust and engine manegment and you can hit 450, easy.
If youre interested in either drop me a PM
