05 WRX help

Hey guys, I just bought an 05 wrx and have some questions. the mods for it are:
Engine back exhaust (headers,up pipe, down pipe, and catback) - no name brand
boomba fuel rails
walbro 255 fuel pump
mishimoto bigger tmic
godspeed (I think) td05 big 16G turbo
unknow BOV
unknown stage 2 clutch

engine rebuilt 10k ago

I was thinking to put STi injectors on it, and get a custom map for it, since i have an upgraded turbo, and full exhaust on it.

Let me know what your thoughts and opinions are about it

thanks

if that car doesn't already have injectors and a tune on it it shouldn't even run

I didn't know Mishimoto made aftermarket TMICs - I know they make silicone hoses.

Sounds like you need injectors, a 3 port ebcs, a tune, and perhaps an intake or K&N drop in air filter.

Also, ditch the BOV (if it vents to atmosphere) and find a recirculating BPV.

The Stage 2 clutch might be an issue too. Generally, if you have a stock transmission, you should also have a stock (or stock equivalent) clutch or you risk breaking gears.

Meaning you shouldn't even be turning the car on.

If it's a Godspeed turbo, then a new turbo is also on the list for purchases you need to make immediately.

Ive heard they weren't the best, I'd go with like a vf39 if this one dumps on me

Why must you always skip the 30 Paul? It's a great turbo. A bit more rare, but still a good option.

I don't really want to make a huge amount of power. I want the car to last a while and stay reliable, what's a good turbo for that?

Never really read up on the 30... Never any reason to.... I've seen more 22's and the others than I have 30's.

Anyone of the VF series chargers are fine for reliability. Get the one with the lowest possible miles and stick to one that is generally going to be easy to replace IF it ever goes out (for tune sake)

could I use the cobb ap OTS map, for the 16g, even though its for a different brand turbo? would it be bad that I only have 93 octane in my area, and 91 is the only octane for that map?

Both.

For the record, one of my friend's shops had a Godspeed turbo explode on the dyno recently. Yes. Explode.

What do you suggest I do? I can't get a new turbo right now so cut that out. I don't drive it daily, so what should I do for everything to run right? I can't get a custom (dyno) tune, so it'll have to be like an accessport custom map or something.
